Are you working with a family involved in a custody case? Have you been asked to serve as an expert witness? Are you worried about being sued? Mental health professionals are often put in a position where they must interface with the legal system. Many times, these interactions are not voluntary on the part of the mental health professional. As a result, they can be daunting. This course will help prepare mental health professionals with information and skills to competently interface with the legal system, when necessary.

About the Presenter:
Kathryn Krase, Ph.D., J.D., M.S.W., Principal Consultant with Krase Consultant, is an expert on
the professional reporting of suspected child maltreatment. She has authored multiple books and
articles on the subject. She has years of experience consulting with government and community
based organizations to develop policy & practice standards.
